"You say I belong to You
apart from the things I do.
I'm in awe of why You do, the way You love me."
Love one another.
Its a command.
Its the second greatest commandment.
So how do you go about loving people?
This is love:
"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong-doing, but rrejoices with the truth. love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
This is who we love:
"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." Galatians 6:10
This is why:
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love...Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and His love is perfected in us." 1 John 4:7-8, 11-12
Love God. Love People.
It seems as if they are one and the same.
It seems it is the means to the end.
It seems you just do it.
Sure, you have to have correct knowledge before you can live this out.
But what is that knowledge?
Its the knowledge of God that comes through the saving gospel knowledge.
Thats it.
Thats why any person of any age, personality, and capacity is able to love another.
Because a heart that has been brought to life through the gospel and actually knows God can love anyone. No other knowledge is needed.
Sure, other thoughts can be helpful, but they are not required.
Too often they are an excuse to why we can't love another.
Selfishness gets in the way.
It comes in many forms - pride, laziness, hurt, etc.
But the root is selfishness which is worshiping yourself.
Worship God.
Love God.
Love People.

Confirmed
With each need, and with each awareness
The need, the absolute necessity, of prayer
Is show to be brigther and brighter.
Even that awareness,
the need to pray,
Needs prayer.
On my own - lazy and unfaithful.
